Inside Raven

Meet a #RavIntern: Abbi Boysen, Business Analyst and Accounting Intern

Meet Abbi

Abbi Boysen grew up in a small town called Danbury, IA and is currently in her undergraduate program for accounting and operational analytics at the University of South Dakota. Abbi was drawn to accounting because of the stability a job in this field could give her, as well as the aspect to help a business advance and grow.

Abbi has been working as a business analyst and accounting intern at Raven’s Headquarters in Sioux Falls this summer. Abbi was introduced to Raven as a company while she was working as a camp counselor at USD. Her group toured Raven, and Abbi enjoyed all the different parts of how Raven operates and was very drawn to their mission of helping farmers.

Working for Raven, I like the company culture the best. Everyone is so nice, and they are always willing to help.

Summer at Raven

As a business analyst and accounting intern, Abbi has several tasks to do over the summer. One of her main jobs is to work closely with dashboards on Power BI, an interactive data visualization software product, updating old dashboards and creating new ones for different departments of the team. She is also working on an intern project, looking for ways to improve the cash conversion cycle.

Abbi has noted during her summer internship that Raven’s company culture is one of the best. Raven prioritizes your need to learn and caters to you, wanting you to get the most out of this experience. Mentors and team members are always willing to lend a helping hand when needed. A career goal of Abbi’s is to make the world a better place, and she believes that Raven is doing a great job of that.
